The changes announced by Washington will take effect in November.
The United States announced this Wednesday, October 13, that its land borders with Mexico and Canada will soon be open to tourism again, as long as those who enter show that they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. However, those traveling for essential reasons, such as students or carriers, will be able to cross the border regardless of their vaccination status until the beginning of January 2022.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also recalled that a person is considered vaccinated who has the complete schedule against Covid-19, two weeks after the second dose or the single dose.
