Xiaomi is finalizing the launch, in Europe, of the Redmi Note 11, a mid-range smartphone that has been available for a long time in China, and that, according to new information, will arrive on our continent with a significant change at the hardware level.
The design will be the same as the version for the Chinese market, and it will be available in three colors: Star Blue, Graphite Gray and Twilight Blue. In the photo, these three colors are illustrated in the same order, so you can see how each of them looks.
The front part is made up of an all-screen panel with a circular floating island, where an 8 MP camera is integrated. On the back, the Redmi Note 11 mounts a 50 MP main camera and has an 8 MP wide angle, in addition to a 2 MP macro.
Its screen is 6.5 inches, uses an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and has a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The memory configuration will be the same that the model brought to China, although only one version may arrive in Europe. Xiaomi launched a base version with 4 GB and 128 GB, and also another with 6 GB and 128 GB in China. The starting price of this terminal in Europe will be 250 euros.
The important change at the hardware level, which we have left for last, would be the replacement of the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. The former is built on the “old” 12nm node, while the latter uses the 6nm node, so it should be more powerful and also more efficient. The price, however, seems a bit high for what it would offer, even in its most powerful configuration.
