Suntory joins the hybrid model and opens a new headquarters

Suntory Beverage & Food Spain (SBFS) is implementing a new work philosophy based on the flexibility of a hybrid telework model: three days at home and two at the office. “It has been more than demonstrated that employees are responsible with their obligations and we see no objection to not maintaining this hybrid form of work,” says Francisco Torrecuadrada, Director of People and Culture at Suntory Beverage & Food Iberia.

Although it is a flexible model, employees can choose to go to the office for two, three, four or five days. The establishment of ‘core’ schedules facilitates personal organization, including the disconnection and rest of all employees outside their working hours. A) Yes, meetings should have a maximum duration of 50 minutes, which allows you to have 10 minutes of disconnection, and must be done from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

New office concept

Aligned with your vision ‘Growing For Good’ (‘Crecer para bien’), SBFS has just opened new headquarters, which have the necessary technology to reduce the consumption of water, electricity and carbon emissions. “We want to be a brand with real values and every action counts. For this reason, we have also installed chargers for electric vehicles and parking for bikes. We have proposed to encourage alternative transportation as far as possible, “he concludes Carmen Guembe, Director of Communication and Institutional Relations of SBFS.

This new space has been designed with the aim of facilitating group work, with different functional rooms and co-working spaces, but offering individual concentration areas or spaces to hold telephone conversations. To all these novelties, a series of common spaces are added such as the canteen, an area of wellness o el Bar Suntory.
