Colombia prepares to celebrate a new edition of the F-Air fair

Colombia will hold, from November 2 to 5, a new edition of the F-air International Aeronautics Fair. On this occasion, the event will take place in a virtual version for what has been called F-Air Connection 2021.

The event will be organized by the Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics (Aerocivil) with the support of the Colombian Air Force (DO), and companies SAAB and Embraer as main sponsors.

Sessions cycles

During it, there will be four cycles of sessions with a total of 20 different presentations, which will deal with different aspects of air and space power and the potential of the Colombian aeronautical sector.

The participation of companies specialized in airport and aeronautical infrastructure, airport security, handling, telecommunications and air navigation, as well as the main government and private companies in the sector, including the CIAC and Codaltec like other firms of the Defense Social and Business Group (Gsed).

In this sense, Colonel Arnaud Penent D´Izarn, director of the fair, stated that “the organization postponed the realization of the face-to-face event, which was scheduled to take place last July, to 2023 due to the health emergency presented by the pandemic, favoring the health of exhibitors, visitors and the general public . Instead, we will hold the virtual event, through a platform designed for that purpose. “
