The CEO of Atos, Elie Girard, has resigned, so the company’s board of directors has agreed to appoint Rodolphe Belmer, current CEO of Eutelsat, as his successor, as reported by the company this Wednesday in a statement .

Belmer will begin his term as Atos chief executive on January 20, 2022. Until then, the company’s director of ‘big data and security’, Pierre Barnabé, and the director of financial services and insurance, Adrian Gregory, will be co-directors. interim delegates.

“Following an in-depth review of the main challenges for Atos in the coming years, the board of directors has chosen Rodolphe Belmer to lead the profound transformation from a global leader in secure digital services to pursue its organic growth and through acquisitions.” the company has explained.

Belmer has been the CEO of Eutelsat since December 2015, according to his biography on the social network LinkedIn. He is also an advisor to Voodoo.io and sits on the board of Netflix. Before joining Eutelsat, he was CEO of Canal + and held positions of responsibility at McKinsey and Procter & Gamble (P&G).

THIRD QUARTER BILLING

The company saw revenues between July and September of 2,666 million euros, unchanged compared to the same period in 2020. By business segment, the public sector and defense division contracted by 11.9%, to 553 million, while construction grew 10.4%, to 518 million.

On the other hand, the financial services branch stood at 524 million, 2.3% more, followed by the area of ​​resources and services, which grew 1.5%, to 383 million. Revenues from the health segment were 33 million, 5.1% more, and those of telecommunications, media and technology fell 2%, to 355 million.

Atos explained that market demand after the Covid-19 crisis has remained “very dynamic” in the migration and development of cloud applications and in the digital transformation processes of companies.
