Peronism will begin to celebrate this Sunday, the 76th anniversary of the Loyalty day with acts in different squares of the country to remember the great march held on October 17, 1945 to ask for the freedom of Juan Domingo Perón.

This year, the celebration has a particularity: the different mobilizations they will be extended for two consecutive days.

As the Peronist tradition marks, the Plaza de Mayo will be the epicenter this Sunday, starting at 4:00 p.m., of a concentration in which several leaders and activists of social, trade union, political and human rights organizations have already advanced their participation.

Several social movement organizations such as the Octubres Movement, the Martín Fierro Corriente, La Cámpora, and the Buenos Aires PJ, Miles will converge in the Plaza.

Unions from the Central de Trabajadores Argentinos (CTA), the Asociación de Trabajadores del Estado (ATE) Capital as well as the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo have already announced their presence, who will carry as slogan “No to debt payment.”

The group “Los Unrompibles”, which leads the first candidate for national deputy for the city of Buenos Aires for the Frente de Todos, Leandro Santoro called to meet at 15.30 at the corner of Avenida de Mayo and 9 de Julio.

Already during the week, as the head of the Justicialist Party, Alberto Fernández asked through social networks to join the celebration.

“Sunday the 17th is the day of the family. Let’s celebrate. And in the afternoon, starting at 4:00 p.m., now that we can, let’s mobilize to all the squares to commemorate that extraordinary popular feat that was on October 17, 1945,” he wrote On twitter.

In a PJ statement released through his Twitter account, the President added: “Let’s do it in peace and unity. Let’s celebrate as a family with all the care and respecting the protocols that this moment imposes on us.”

“May the musicians bring their music, the poets their poems, the protagonists of the struggles their memories. Let us transform this meeting into a true celebration of democracy,” said the President in the message that was later shared by Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in your Twitter account.

The head of state concluded: “Let us remember that October 17, but above all let us be very united to build a better future together.”

For the same purpose, the CGT and other union spaces they will mobilize this monday towards the Monument to Work, located on Paseo Colón and Independencia.

After just over a year and a half without marches due to the coronavirus pandemic, Monday’s will be a great union mobilization. In which the Evita Movement and the workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP) will also participate. It was reported that these groups will march from noon.
