Felipe Cazals, Mexican director and producer, has died at 84 years of age, reported the Mexican Academy of Cinema, This saturday.

One of the actresses who mourned the death of the Mexican producer and filmmaker, immediately, was Dolores Heredia, who dedicated a few words to him on his social networks.

The director was born in 1937 and after receiving an education in Marist and military schools, his taste for cinema led him to obtain a scholarship to study film andn the famous Institute of Higher Cinematographic Studies (IDHEC) in Paris, a school that he dropped out after some time.

Upon his return to Mexico, he joined the program’s team television show La hora de Bellas Artes, for which he made his first short films, Quiet! (1966) and Leonora Carrington, the ironic spell, among others, recognized in festInternational rivals such as Mar del Plata and Sao Paulo.
