The minor died instantly after being shot in the head. The police report that it is a shooting from a moving vehicle.

Kei’lan Allen, 13, died on Friday after being shot in the head in his own home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (USA), after the property was shot at, apparently from a car on the move, local police reported. The identity of the shooter or shooters, as well as their motives, have yet to be determined.

When the shooting broke out, the teenager he was in his bed playing with a tablet and had headphones on. His cousin, with whom local media have spoken, assumes that Kei’lan did not even hear the shots. The victim’s mother called her son several times, but when she did not get an answer, she went to look for him and found him dead in her room.

The young man was killed instantly by a gunshot to the head. In total, the Police found 13 bullets in the room Allen and many more scattered around other rooms of the house.

“It is a senseless crime. There are many cases in which adults are killed in this way and it is horrible. When it comes to a child, it is already another level,” lamented the Tuscaloosa Police Chief. “We will do everything possible to stop them,” he promised.
