Havana, Oct 13 (RHC) The Minister of Education of Cuba (MINED), Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella affirmed this Wednesday in a press conference that the conditions exist to guarantee the safe return to the classrooms of all students.
He specified that since last October 4, the progressive reincorporation to the teaching centers has been carried out depending on the progress of the vaccination process and the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the municipalities and provinces.

The owner reported that the educational teaching process will be developed from the diagnosis of the schools to their students and each authority may adopt a flexible system depending on their needs and characteristics.
He said that on November 15, more than 1,620,000 students and 407,552 workers in the sector will attend 10,754 educational institutions in the country to close the 2020-2022 school year and start the next course in March 2022, after to modify some curricular aspects.
Velázquez Cobiella reaffirmed that the health of the students is the highest priority, and rigorous compliance with the hygienic sanitary measures implemented against COVID-19 will be ensured.
Likewise, he invited families to guarantee compliance with the Public Health indications at home and to strengthen the bond with teachers in educational centers.
