One of the games that were announced before the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S consoles was Quantum Error, a title that attracted a lot of attention because it would be inspired by franchises such as Dead Space, DOOM and other comic horror style games to deliver an atmospheric focused experience. If you wait for the launch of the game, there is positive news, but for many it could be bittersweet.
We say this because the study in charge of the project, TeamKill Media, has just announced that it will change the engine from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5, the newest technology in terms of engines that is in the market.
The developer explained that this change is due to the fact that after testing Unreal Engine 5 she could not resist using it for her project, since the improvements are “very amazing and enhances everything about the game in every way”.

When will it be available Quantum Error?
As you can see, this is excellent news, as the new engine from Epic Games and the efforts of TeamKill Media will allow the game to look better. However, that also means that development could take longer and delay the game’s release.
Recall that so far the company has not revealed a launch date or window, but it is confirmed that it will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
TeamKill Media took the opportunity to present a new trailer for the game, which is captured in real time on Unreal Engine 5. In the new trailer, Bram Houser is introduced, whose discoveries changed the world in Quantum Error. Interestingly, the narrative speaks of the Emanare Anomaly, which apparently gave rise to the Quantum Age, the “birth of infinite knowledge.”
We remind you that Quantum Error will put you in the shoes of firefighter Jacob Thomas, who was dispatched to the MONAD facility after receiving a call for help. Things got out of hand and he will have to find a way to survive.
In case you missed it: here you can see a demo of the gameplay of Quantum Error.
