The Minister of Health, Fernando Ruiz, confirmed the opening of vaccination for the group of people between 25 and 29 years of age. The process will be scheduled, starting tomorrow, Friday, July 30.

As of this Wednesday, July 28, the Moderna vaccine began to be applied in Bogota. There are 15 specific points in the city where this vaccine is applied.

Second doses of Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Pfizer are also being applied. This last vaccine is also applied exclusively to expectant mothers and children over 12 years of age with comorbidities.

In Medellin 176,810 doses of Moderna pharmaceutical arrived. The single dose of Janssen also applies. For second doses, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Sinovac are available.

According to the most recent report from the Ministry of Health, this Thursday, July 29, 9,690 new cases of covid-19 were reported in Colombia in the last hours. This, after 89,569 tests were processed (38,652 of PCR and 50,917 of antigens).

On the other hand, the report shows 325 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia rises to 120,126.
